Ans) The average mileage in an e-rickshaw is from 60-90 Km at full charging.

Q4) Is it necessary to have an insurance policy on an e-rickshaw?

Ans) According to the Motor Vehicle Act. 1988, it is mandated to obtain at least third-party e-rickshaw insurance. An e-rickshaw is a commercial vehicle that must be protected against unforeseen losses arising out of theft, fire, accident, natural disaster, or any other unfortunate incidents. Therefore, you must have the right commercial vehicle insurance to protect it from several damages. 

As an e-rickshaw owner, it is necessary for you to get an insurance policy for your e-rickshaw that covers both third-party liabilities and your own damages.

Q5) How much weight can an e-rickshaw carry?

Ans) As per the government rules, 380 kg is the prescribed weight an e-rickshaw can carry. 

Q6) How long does it take to get an e-rickshaw driving license? 

Ans) It take less than 2 Month and it is different from commercial license 3 Wheeler / Auto. Some RTO required a 10 to 15 Days Training Certificate from the Dealer/Manufacturer.
